Red, Pink and White at Just Magnolia

Hi there my sweet friends! As promised, I'm back with a Magnolia card and a brand new challenge over at Just Magnolia, which is a color combo Claudia set for us:

RED/PINK/WHITE with an optional of LOVE/VALENTINE.

I struggled a bit with this one; I don't usually do pink; thought of making a Christmas card then I changed my mind for a sweet girly one. It didn't turn out as I wanted; I kept having the feeling more colours had to be added, lol, you know me, I love colourful, but well, it's a challenge and I did my best.

Supplies:
Medium: promarkers/copics
DP: digital- Raspberry Road Designs
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, metal corner and ribbon; lace from local store, charm from Bunny Zoe
Dies: Magnolia Doohickey swirl and flower
Sentiment: Lili of the Valley

Hope you will find some time to join in this week's challenge. There are some lovely prizes waiting for you, who knows, you may be the lucky winner:)
Thank you for coming by and wish you all a happy weekend!

Ragged Santa

Hey there my lovelies! It's a cold winter day; no snow here yet but looking forward to get some! First, I would love to send warm wintry wishes to all my friends out there celebrating Thanksgiving and hope you will enjoy great quality time with your beloved ones! We don't celebrate this here but I'm definitely gonna make a pie this afternoon:)
Now, onto the purpose of my post today: it's challenge time over at Digital Pencil Too and therefore a great moment and opportunity for me- that is to play with Mo Manning's wonderful winter images because our hostess with the mostess- my dearest Pat, wants to see:

Elves, fairies, Santa, or snowmen
on this week's cards/projects!!!

Have you seen Mo's recent Christmas images? You can check them up on the Digital Pencil Too blog, they are all fabulous! It was such a joy to color this Ragged Santa- he's just  the way I've always imagined him; funny, joker-like and full of patches on his tattered clothes. Oh, I just love this image!

The background I added is from Make it Crafty- called Gift Way, thought it would work nice with my Santa who seems to be in need of some directions:)

Supplies:
Stamps: Mo Manning - Ragged Santa
Make it Crafty- Gift Way
Coloring medium: promarkers/copics
DP: MME (I think:))
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and metal corner; lace from stash, glossy accents on the poinsettias;
Misc: lots of ultrafine glitter, Twinklets- Diamond dust, snow marker;
Sentiments- Whimsy Stamps- Christmas Sentiments

That's it from me! Now it's your turn to pull off one of Mo's elves, Santas, fairies or snowmen and make your own card/project for Christmas/winter! I look forward to see what you come up with!
If you're looking for some inspiration you can head over to DP2 Blog and marvel at the wonderful cards of my DT sisters!! Don't forget to leave some love on the way too:)

Wintertime at Mo's!

Hey there, my sweet friends! It's great to be back with another great challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! set by our super-smart, -talented and -funny sistah Pat :

WINTER!

As simple as that! Now, this is one of those tasks you were just about to do but only needed a hint, weren't you?:) ; I know we are all into Christmas and winter cards these days, so all you have to do is to share them with us! Of course, you'll just have to make sure they have a Mo image on before submitting it to Mr. Inlinkz:)!

I have no idea how to call the "thing" ...lol I have to show you today; it's a sort of card in  a box or with a box; well, it's something I meant to hang on the wall and it's quite lovely and bright if you could see it on my dining room wall, well that was before my 2 year old came home and started pointing at it. Generally, he takes no interest in my cards which are all over and even within his reach. Moreover, when one happens to fall from a shelf he immediately brings it to me, knowing he is not to play with. But this one he just had to examine closely and started laughing and making faces; "grandes chaussettes" he said- meaning "big socks" lol; that's what he got from it. I had to hide it eventually before starting pulling the tiny bells!

This was my first Mo Manning image and since last year I only had the time to make one card with it just thought I'd use it again. The image is called Christmas Morn and I love it to bits!

Supplies:
Stamp; Mo Manning- Christmas Morn
Medium; copics, promarkers
Embellies: Wild Orchid Crafts poinsettia, metal corner, golden bells and pearls, lace and ribbon from stash
Dies; Marianne Design snowflakes
Sentiment: freebie from Bizzy Becs

In case any of you would love to try this out, it's quite simple: make a box lid- mine is 5.5 inches square and just glue it to a thick base cardstock (mine is 7 per 7 inches). You can embellish the edges however you like. Just a tip: next time I would use paper lace - it's easier to adhere it and make a frame round the window:)

Challenges:
Creatalicious Challenges -  Christmas and make sure it SPARKLES
 Marianne's Design Divas -  Sparkle and Shine
Digital Tuesday -  Christmas Time
Everybody-Art-Challenge - Little Present
Sassy Cheryl's -Anything Goes
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Anything Christmas with Pearls
Forever Friends - Christmas is Coming
Heart Song Inspirations - Gold OR Glitter
Karens Doodles - Anything BUT a Card

Ok, that's it from me; now it's time for you to head on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog HERE so you can check out the wonderful projects my talented DT sisters have prepared for your inspiration! Then make your own Mo Manning challenge project and join the fun!! Just remember to use one (or more) of Mo Manning's images (you can find them in Mo's online stores HERE and HERE)! One lucky participant (chosen at random, of course) will receive a $5.00 shopping spree at Mo's online store.

Thanks so much for stopping by...and for your kind comments! Those of you who haven't entered my CANDY are most welcome to do so:) Have a great end of the week!

Just Magnolia DT- A Gift for you

Hi again! This is my 3rd card in two days, not that bad, says I:). I made a window card for our new challenge at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar;
We have a color challenge this week, so you will have to make sure your card has mainly black/grey, red and white  on it before submitting it to the blue frog on the challenge blog.

Although it might look simple to you, this was not the easiest card to make. I had to cut through all those layers of papers, not all at once, and believe me, they were quite some. Plus I did some paper piecing with some huge old scissors, as all my other 10 (lol) were somewhere well placed all together...lol. Hope someday when I'll be looking for my glasses (which I don't have yet)  I shall find them all.
Here's my card:

And the inside:

Supplies:
Medium: copics/promarkers
DP: digital- have no idea where it came from- let me know if you guys do:)
Embellies; poinsettias, pearls and metal corner from Wild Orchid Crafts , ribbon from The Ribbon Girl;
Dies: Marianne Design fir tree and snowflakes, nestabilities circles (grand and scalopped)
Sentiment: digital from Whimsy Stamps

So, let's get crafting with black/grey, red and white. It was a real challeenge for me as I usually do more colorful but I like a bit different too:)
Since you are here, I invite you all to enter my CANDY!!!. It's been a great year since I started blogging and wanted to thank all of you for your continuous support! Mwahhh!

Big hugs,

Fancy Folds- Organizer

Hi everyone! It's time for challenge 108 at Digital Pencil Too and this time we would like you to think a bit outside the box and do some fancy folds- either a card or a 3D project, it's entirely up to your imagination.
Now, it ocurred to me to try something sweet and useful at the time; it's been a while since I wanted to color up these sweet teenage (!) fairies from Mo Manning and here they are eventually. I just adore them- aren't they sooo beautiful!!! They are called Mia and Pia and can be found here and here in the store:). I wasn't sure which one I loved more so I used them both:)

 I also included a calendar and cut lots of papers ; still, there's room left, as I made quite a deep box:). It is made of cardboard and looks quite elegant IRL. The dimensions are only 4 per 5,5 inches and the papers I used are all digital from Zoe Pearn.

Hope you guys can figure it out; sorry for the many pictures; just tried to show it as thoroughly as possible. And here's a close-up of the little pencil. I thought I might "dress it up" with the same patterned paper:)

Supplies:
Stamps: Mo Manning- Teen Fairy Mia and Teen Fairy Pia
Colorin medium: copics/promarkers
Embellishments: Wild Orchi Crafts flowers, leaves, pearls and ribbon; lace from stash, ultrafine glitter
Sentiment and calendar : Photoshop

Challenges:
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Lace;  The Crazy Challenge - Something with Wings ;C.R.A.F.T. - Cute; Crafty Ribbons -Anything BUT a Card  ;Cooking It Up With Katie -fancy, flowers, unusual fold; Crafts and Me -birthdays; Inky Impressions - glitter; Paper Shelter Challenge -all in pink; Ruby's Rainbow -something with wings; Stampavie and More -Anything Goes (2nd wk); Truly Scrumptious - Bingo* (lace, flowers, ribbon); Anything Goes Challenge - Stitches Real or Faux Create Me Pink Challenges - Flower Challenge; Digital Tuesday - include a digital element Anything Goes; Heart Song Inspirations -Anything Goes;

Little Miss Muffet Challenges GD Card

Hi dear all! I have a sweet Christmas card for you today, something different from what I normally do. A couple of weeks ago I won some digis from Little Miss Muffet and  since I found them so cute I really wanted to be their guest designer for this fortnight. I had in mind more like a child's card, a shaker card naturally:), so I chose this Christmas Dino, perfect for a sweet Chrissy card.
The theme for this week at Little Miss Muffet Challenges is "Simplicity wit a charm"; for me, that's super difficult because I don't normally do simple, well, never, says I:) So I did my best to cut from adornments, added a charm and voila:

Supplies:
Stamp- Little Miss Muffet- Christmas Dino
Medium: copics, promarkers
DP; digital from a Christmas Tradition paper pack
Embellies: Wild Orchd Crfats poinsettia, charm and double end red holly berries

Now, I'm happy she had in mind a thank you theme because, firstly, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, so I would be totally at a loss with this one and secondly, I was just about to make a thank you card  for my son's teacher. It's not for a special occasion; just a gift as if from the kiddos:) Hope she will like it.
