Lili of the Valley Christmas Card

Hi there sweet people! It's been a long time since I last made a Lili of the Valley card and I've certainly missed these cute little stamps a lot. I colored several over the weekend since I had about ten who never left the plastic pouches:(. So, more cards to come....

This is my first Christmas card for 2012. I really enjoyed putting it together and I think it's lovely. I wish Jesus' head were more noticeable in the crib full of straw, but I still love the delicate look of this stamp.
I wrote the sentiment in Photoshop and added a string of bells and beads underneath. Hope you like it:

Here's a close up of the sentiment:

Ingredients:
Stamp: Lili of the Valley- Angels with Crib
Medium; copics
Embellishments: Willd Orchid Crafts flowers, lace, bells and charm; ribbon from stash.
Sentiment: computer generated.

I'm entering my card in the following challenges:

Thank you  all for being  here! Have a wonderful day!
Hugs, Iulia

Alisa with Roses

Hi there sweet friends!
We would like to see some "ĐISTRESSED" projects this week at
Mo's Digital Pencil Too,
so just show us your favorite technique for an aged or simply distressed look with a Mo image on!
I had a card done within a half an hour or so. I didn't use dies, nor any fancy stuff as I really had to make it 'on the go".  It looks lovely from the moon...lol, luckily for me I used this gorgeous Alisa with Roses, she's such a beauty, only Mo could have drawn her:).

Here's a close-up:

Supplies:
Image: Mo Manning- Alisa with Roses
Medium; copics, promarkers
DP: too many marks to count
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts flowers- some of them colored with copics, twine, brad and ribbon: rhinestones and lace from stash

I had limited stash to work with as I only took a small bag of stuff when I left home; but I can tell you it also should have some glitter on...lol and maybe even a sentiment...hehe.

Well, hope I"ve inspired you to make a card with whatever you find on tap...lol. Still, if I were to choose between taking my sewing machine or my Big Shot when I leave home, I would still favour the first one:).

Thank you all for visiting me or trying to :( for  the last couple of months. I have managed to solve my blog problems, since many of you sent me e-mails saying I was unreachable this summer. It seems blogger found it necessary to make some country redirection settings and I had to operate some changes in my html settings in order to be "available" for everyone. I'm really thankful so many of you sent me e-mails saying you could not enter my blog. I was mostly in vacation for the past months and didn't pay attention I didn't get that much commenting. I thought it was the heat...lol:)

Before you get bored or leave please take a minute and visit the challenge blog here. You'll get to see some gorgeous creations my DT colleagues have prepared for you.
Till next time, take care and enjoy summertime!

Magnolia Back to School Card

Hello, ladies! It's challenge day at
perfect moment for you to get to play with your Maggies and come up with a SCHOOL card/project, whatever suits you most.

Since I don't have a school themed Magnolia stamp, I altered a bit some other stamps I have and added some really lovely digital elements from Elizabeth Dulemba to make them look as  pupils:)

Since the stamps are cut out and then assembled I chose to add an acetate sheet onto protect it and for a neat look, hence the blurry aspect of the whole image. In flesh, it looks beautiful:)
Here's a look on the inside:

The quilled flower basket is one of my older creations, a souvenir from a time when I really had lots of time for myself:). I thought it looks nice on this card.
Here's a close-up:

and a little notebook sheet for some wording:

All you have to do in order to enter the draw for a 5$ shopping spree at Mo's is to use a Mo image and make it convey a sentiment of some kind of friendship. Easy-peasy, huh? Mo Manning Summer Beach Card

Hello everyone,
Anyone fancies a summer card? I made this one a while ago and thought I'd share it with you before the summer is over...sigh....
I took a loooong vacation, for over a month now and haven't colored all this time. I feel strange and can't wait to put my hands on those copics I left at home purposedly...lol. I thought maybe I'll get a bit over the addiction. Well, it's already too much:) While in the countryside with my little one I kept my hands busy making jams, compotes, putting up pickles and other stuff and time just flew by... Now it's time to get back to work...hehe
Here's my summer card featuring one of Mo's older images, a girl heading to the beach.
The big sunflower is quilled, I spent quite some time putting it together but I love the way it turned out:)

Here are some close-ups:

And a close-up of the quilled flower:

Ingredients for my card:
Image: Mo Manning- To the Beach

Love is all around...

Hello dear blogging friends! We're dealing with "LOVE" this week at Mo' s Digital Pencil Too  and we hope many of you will join in the fun!

I had a request for a wedding card as someone wanted me to make one exactly as an older card I already gave away. I really cannot make two identical cards, not even very similar, so I came up with this one and thought I'd show it to you too. Sorry for the bad pics, I had a very bad light source when I took them.

I just love this image! You can find it here in Mo's store, it's called Bride and Groom.

And a close-up of the sentiment. It's in Romanian and says "Congratulations" and "Happy Blissful Marriage" or something like that. No idea if there's an English idiom for this but we say "Casa de piatra!" which is literally translated as "Have a stone house!", lol, fun isn't it?

Ingredients for my card;
Image- Mo Manning- Bride and Groom
DP- MME and something digital from Bearly Mine, I really cannot find right now:(
Medium: copics, promarkers
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, lace and ribbon
Die cuts: Magnolia Doohikeys bloom tag and swirl, Marianne Design heart die , nestabilities ovals grand
Sentiment: computer generated

I also found some challenges to enter my card. Haven't had time to enter in a while, I kind of missed them;)
