Children's Challenge at Mo's DP2!!!!

Hello everyone! Todays is a special day for all of us who love Mo Manning's images: we're having a children's challenge this week at Digital Pencil Too open to "children" of all ages. So either you choose a child image or you ask your little ones (kids; grandkids, friend's kids, neighbour's kid lol) to make a card using a Mo image of their choice, everything's just perfect and we will be thrilled to see what you come up with!!!
So , you're all welcome to enter our "ANYTHING GOES KIDS" challenge at Mo's!

My first card today is the one I made for this challenge using a gorgeous image I've always loved and looked forward for a proper moment to enjoy playing with called Out there.

This card is really beautiful in flesh, it's such a pity my camera doesn't show it:( I'll try getting better photos these days.

Card recipe:

Image: Mo Manning- Out there and  Beach Elements
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
DP: Jodie Lee- Faded vintage papers and some Doodlebug papers (the blue striped)
Embellishments: flowers/WOC and Ribbon Girl, charms from local store, sand and shells (stash)
Die-cuts: nestabilities label 8, Memory Box- Big Splash Border
Sentiment: computer generated

And today I also have my son Victor joining us at Mo's with this gorgeous card:

Please be indulgent with him, he's not even 4 and he was't in his best mood when he drew this but I'm pretty sure he's got some talents... he he:)

So, I must tell you he did everything himself: including the bow stuff, he glued it to the card, chose the embellishments and adhered them too. My only contribution was that of providing the card with the backing paper on and cut that fence he thought was really appropriate:). He cut his image off with a zig-zag scissors- luckily he's covered the edges afterwards with the ribbon:)) The thing is I'm really proud of him!

The image he chose is part of a set called Sailor Boys- I thought I'd let him pick the colors, well maybe next time I'll narrow down his choice of copics...lol.

Now, hope we've inspired you to join us this week at Mo's. If I hadn't maybe I'll ask my hubby to come up with something, I'm pretty sure you'll then lose all the inspiration lol:)
Thank you all for your visit today! Looking forward to see your/your kids' wonderful creations! Please take a minute to admire the beautiful cards my extremely talented colleagues at Mo's have come up with this week, starting with the challenge blog here. You'll also find there details about this week's challenge and the prizes you can win!!!

Till next time, sending big hugs to you all!

Flourishes Guest Designer- Butterflies

Hello my lovelies! Here's my 3rd post as Flourishes Guest Designer, I really enjoy working with these cute stamps and I just wish I had more time to color:(

This week's challenge theme over at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday is Butterflies, so you either use an image with butterflies in it or just use die-cuts as I did:)

I'm so really sorry about my photo, my camera is broken and have not a clue how to fix it nor time to go and get it repaired. Hopefully, tomorrow I shall change the photo but since I'm already late with my post, I'd rather use it as it is:

The worse part is that I can't manage to take a good shot of this image:(. You can take my word it looks much much better in flesh. This stamp is part of a set called Spring is Sprung which you can find in the Flourishes store.

Today we have all of our new  Friends of Flourishes Team members sharing their “butterfly” inspirations with you!  Take a moment and leave some love on all of our designers’ blogs.

Come and hop along and visit with all of our super talented designers and join us in our challenge this week for a chance to win!! Please head on over to the Flourishes Challenge blog to see the details!

Lili's Little Fairies- Thank You Card

Hi there! This is my second post for today, I'm really proud of myself:). No idea how I managed to have all the cards for the DT commitments done lately, I'm busy at work, at home and everywhere I go...lol. Maybe I just want to see if I can get all things done... hehe.
I really like the card I made for this week's challenge at Lili's Little Fairies, those elegant flower vases recently released by LOTV look wonderful on cards and are so very versatile!

We would like to see some "Thank You!" cards this week at Lili's Little Fairies,  we all need some of those don't we?

For my card today I used an image from the new released black and white sketch pads at Lili of the Valley called Wild Flowers which I coloured with copics and promarkers and set it against some patterned cardstock from my local store. I made some crocheted flowers, I think thet look nice on this type of card, added glitter, ribbon and some buuterflies and a stamped the Thank You sentiment (from Flourishes).

If anyone is interested, this card is for sale in my Etsy store.

Hope you will join us for this week's challenge! It's always a pleasure to see what you all come up with every week!
Big hugs to all!

Hi everyone and yes, I was able to make a CAS card for this week's challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil Too. Those who know me also know clean and simple is not my cup of tea but I surely found it was lots of fun and soooo very quick to make, of course. I'm not even sure if it's clean enough...lol, I surely know it is simple:)
I've had this image already colored for a while now waiting for some time to do a paper-pieced chair, well, I just went on finding a lovely sentiment to go with it and I think it looks sweet:

Card recipe:
Image: Mo Manning- So funny
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers

Flourishes Guest Designer

Hi there sweet peeps! A few months ago I have been asked to be a Flourishes Guest Designer, one of those opportunities I really love to take on, since I've always admired an love these stamps seeing them on varous blogs. I really looked forward to actually play with them !
This week's challenge over at Flourishes is Black Accents. I nearly never use black on my cards, most people find it's a mourning color and I have problems using the right amount of it with the right embellishing. I wanted to make a spring card but black just wouldn't fit in. So I went for a Christmas card, way too early for Christmas I know:)

I know the gorgoeus image speaks for itself, but I really love adding embellishments, as you know:).This stamp is a part of a set called Winter Bouquet, you can fin it in the Flourishes Store.

Hope you will be joining us for our  "Black Accents" challenge this week at Flourishes! Look forward to see what you peeps may be coming up with, I surely need inspiration for using black! Denise, our challenge hostess says you can use black matting, black die-cut images, black ribbon, or try the popular "chalkboard" technique that's popping up all over the blogging world. So, it's up to you now!

The Flourishes Finest Design Team will be joining for this challenge.  Here is a list of the Flourishes DT:

Please take a look at their individual blogs!

Thank you so much for you visit! Have a wonderful day!

Happy Thursday everyone and thanks for coming by!
It's our Anything Goes challenge this week at Mo's DP2 and I wanted to show you a card I made with a very cute little bee, an image I just fell in love with:

Not quite my favorite color palette here, but I'm guessing we've got to try out different color combos now and then. That was my own challenge for today:)
Card recipe:
Image: Mo Manning- Baby fairy Bee
DP: Cajoline Papers
Embellishments: mulberry paper flowers/WOC, crocheted flowers, pom-poms, wooden embellies, Tim Holtz- film strip, pearls
Die-cuts: Cart-Us scalopped rectangle, Cheery Lynn- French Pastry Doily, Poppystamps- Lorelei Leaf
Sentiment: computer generated

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop here.

I'm gonna be brief today as we're celebrating Easter this weekend and have plenty to do till then.

Hope you will find some time this week to join us at Mo's, there are plenty of  new (but also old:)) images to choose from and we'd love to see what you make!
Till next time, take care and enjoy the warm weather!

Pastel Colors at Mo's DP2

Hi there sweet peeps! Hope your day is so far and just getting better:).
First, I would like to thank all those who took the time to leave me a comment during this past week. The Spring Blog Hop at Mo's was such fun and we were happy to see so many of you visiting our blogs:)
This week's challenge at Digital Pencil Too was chosen by our very talented Italian lady Franz, and that is:

Now, don't you just love pastels?
I made a baby girl card, for once with no recipient in mind. I just wanted to color up this adorable image I've been wanted to use for a loooong time but Mo originally designed it with fairy ears and I thought it wouldn't be quite appropriate for a baby card. But since many of us thought the same, Mo has changed the fairy's ears with normal ones and now she's just perfect!:)

This sweet image is called Baby Fairy Flora and you can find it here in Mo's store. I did some quilling here too, just love the delicacy of quilled flowers. I also added some pearls in the center of the flowers and a baby girl charm from My Crafty Heart. The butterfly is a Cheery Lynn die.

Now, it's your turn to make something cute in pastel colors using a Mo Manning image, of course:) and then show it to us to be in the draw for a 5 $ shopping spree at Mo's! You know Mo is giving away one of these every 25 entries, so more chances for you to win!

Thank you so much for coming by my blog today! Have a wonderful rest of the week!
